Artwork Description: Evolution of the Salton Sea is interpreted through reclaimed and repurposed objects - from the wooden pier, clouds and rays of sun, blue sky, birds and life meet the edge of waters that were once healthy. Continuing into the depth of the sea, waters are polluting and rotting, barely able to sustain the life of an ecosystem. From the floor of the sea “Concretions” (Dinosaur eggs), which take thousands of years to form, have become the accumulation of matter surrounding a fossil that triggered the cement action.
